Insamlingsdagen grydde med rätt så lovande väder.
The Charity day began with promising weather.
Några regndroppar och knappt blåsigt alls.

De sista förberedelserna gick som smort.

Så slog klockan ett och himlen öppnade sig.
Then at one a clock it was raining cats and dogs.
Trots denna dåliga förutsättning kom det omkring 150 generösa givare på besök till Tomtemuseet
In spite of the bad weather there came about 150 generous giving hands to visit the Santa Claus Museum.

De lyssnade på Pontus Holmegards och Matilda Antmans skönsång och gitarr
samt på Suicidal Cheese rockversioner av Julmusik.
They listened to music of the two different bands, both traditional and rock christmas music.

Besökarna köpte lotter eller spelade på någon av tivoli utmaningarna.
The visitors bought lottery tickets or tried some of the fun fair challenges.
De hälsade på Jultomten själv samt köpte Julmat.
They said hello to Santa Claus and bought christmas food.

Och så tittade de på alla tusentals prydnadstomtarna i museet.
And they looked at the thousands of Santa Claus figurines in the museum.

Överhuvudtaget inföll en skön jul(i)stämning inomhus.
Overall there was a sweet summer Christmas spirit inside.
De som vågade sig utomhus tog snabbt skydd i något av tälten eller blev oförtjänt våta.
They who dared to go outside took shelter pretty fast in any of the tents or got all wet.
Vacker vy i museet.

Resultatet blev hundratals leksaker och ett fyrsiffrigt belopp att köpa fler blivande julklappar för.
The results were hundreds of toys and a four figures amount to buy more christmas toys.
